Fuel Rip off: UK Government rakes in £1 Billion in taxes in 2 months.

The British Government has benefited by over £500 Million a month just from the taxes on fuel.

Any idea that the government is by the people, for the people is proved to be ludicrous when confronted by these figures.

If there was any social conscience or desire to help the general public then something would be done about this.

Gordon Brown has it within his power to dramatically slash motoring costs in the UK.

Yet he is proposing even further burdens by raising the road tax!

This can't go on.

Our dependence on gasoline has to lessen.

Otherwise we will continue to get pushed around by governments and oil conglomerates until people can't take it anymore and something is going to snap.
